Borderlands! Discuss!

So Borderlands has been out for a week…I know a few of you have already bought the game and are most likely much farther than I.
I decided to get it for the PC so I wont be picking it up until this coming MONDAY…
Do you guys have any suggestions? Which class is fun to play? Any imbalances yet?
I’m torn! I dont know which class to start with. Brick looks like he could be a lot of fun. Any suggestions?
Any cool loot?

I’ve been playing Mordecai. He’s pretty fun. Got his bloodwing and sniping stuff is good fun. I haven’t seen any imbalances yet, but just great fun. So far I got 1 orange gun and 1 alien gun.

i was gonna be the girl but i liked the turret
i found a 2-shot 373 damage 94.6 accuracy corrosive revolver that kicks ass
its a level 24 requirement
now imagine how a level 50 requirement gun would be
oh and some of the achievements glitch
theres2 i completed but it didn’t unlock
oh man, everything sounds so awesome.
@musashi – can bloodwing die? 1 orange gun already? isnt that the most rare?
@kcrenots – that sucks the achievements glitched out already. I’m heavily considering roland for the healing….
If you shoot your allies do they get injuryed?
the bloodwing can’t die, but it also can’t kill things that are too far.
you can also call it back, and if you call it back, there is no cool down. only time it has cool down is after it attacks. orange is most rare, but i found it during a 4p game. i haven’t seen any orange when i was playing solo and it is the only orange i’ve seen so far. the game doesn’t have friendly fire, but if someone gets in your way, your shots don’t hit the enemies. there are duels tho. just go up to anyone and press melee, and if they accept, they’ll melee you back then the duel begins.
Roland is pretty good to use
the healing saves you a lot of cash but the cool down is 100 seconds
and when you play with four people bullets fly everywhere and at times it seems the enemies never end
I don’t know about the other classes, but Mordecai has a skill that hits thru shields and at max it’s 100%! that’s good stuff
cool thanks for the advice guys. I started a BRICK character and ive just running around punching people in the face. Its great!! LOL. I think I might make a 2ndary Mordecai. Ignore shields sounds too good.
Mordecai is pretty awesome. Mine is at level 32 now and I did get an Orange Revolver to drop in single player. I don’t remember the stats at the moment, but i know it regenerages ammo. I’ve heard bloodwing can die, but only in duels. I haven’t confirmed it yet though.
I started up with Roland recently and the first boss fight was much easier with him. The turret is awesome, even though the cooldown is pretty long
i reached Level 50 and the guns and enemies on playthrough 2 are badass and they have different names like muthaskag
i found a sick smg that regenerates ammo and my roland gets a bigger clip its awsome with corrosive damage
and the turret you can purchase a skill that reduces the cooldown
mordecai also has a skill to reduce cooldown, but he has another one taht for every sniper shot, the cooldown goes down too. imagine those two together!! i already maxed the 2nd one out and for every 5-6 shots i get my bloodwing back.

Hey man! good to hear from you. I got a level 28 hunter too. Totally went down the Gunslinger route. Pistols and Revolvers are great! regenerating ammo is awesome. I hate running out of bullets. I had a Brick but I cought this weird bug where it took away all my skill points. I was pretty furious….

Congrats on 50! I look forward to do the game all over again. You must have sick gear. I feel like a team of 4 Rolands would totally rape the game.

Is the bloogwing skill path good? I have no idea cause i went down the gunslinger path.
my friend is using mordecai and everytime we duel the bastard throws out his bloodwing andkillsme in one hit even if i have full health
and i noticed instead of the game getting easier as you level up it gets way harder waaayyy harder
maybe you should have a borderlands duel contest

I went mixed paths. Some sniper skills, some rogue and the crits from gunslinger.
crits + headshots + sniper dmg up = win
I went all rogue and i’m going down gunslinger now. Bloodwing hitting 6 targets and covered in acid is kicking the crap out of everyone. I’m level 33 now and almost done with the first play through (i think anyway). That orange revolver does around 465 damage (i looked last night). between this and demons soul’s, i’m pretty busy right now
that sucks about the brick. is it just a pc problem? hasnt’ happened to me on the xbox yet
