Uncharted 3 using PSN Pass for Multiplayer
Sunday, October 2nd, 2011, by Michael Olavarria
According to a The Vault interview with Juan Jimenez, Sony Spain’s Software Manager, brand new copies of Uncharted 3 will include a PSN Pass that allows gamers to play online. Similar to EA’s pass, if you choose to buy a used copy of Uncharted 3, you’ll have to pay $10 in order to access multiplayer.
What do you think of online passes? Should game companies try to make money off of used sales, or should the game industry operate like any other industry with used goods (movies, cars, clothing, etc.) and not expect a cut of used profits?
